It's made by slow-cooking sweetened condensed milk with cocoa and butter until thick and fudgy, then hand-rolling each one and finishing with toppings like sprinkles, crushed cookies, or coconut flakes.

Vanessa grew up eating them at every celebration in her Brazilian family. She brought the recipe to Miami and now ships them fresh to people who are further away than we'd like.

To make them last longer, the fridge gets you to 14 days and the freezer to 6 months. Either way, let them sit out for 10 to 20 minutes before eating so the texture and flavor come back. Some people like them cold straight from the fridge, and that's fine too. We ship in insulated packaging and recommend enjoying them within a few days of arrival for the best texture and flavor.
